This week is the 13th Annual Nonprofit Governance Symposium at University of San Diego. The symposium this year is exploring the theme of “What Can I Do?”

3:00-4:30pm - Workshop Reimagining your board to unlock radical transformation: Lessons from the field
Do you ever feel as if the staff of your nonprofit are giving more to the board than the board is giving to the organization? If that’s the case, come learn how to “reimagine your board” ©. The process of reimagining your board starts with an examination of governance documents and ends with board leaders who are eagerly and actively engaged with your nonprofit.
This workshop describes the process for reimagining your board and shares the experiences of 3 nonprofit organizations that have worked with Pat Libby on this process: Dreams for Change, Children’s Discovery Museum, and Junior Achievement.
